性能苦、辛,寒。清热毒,除湿毒,凉血止血,通利水道。
主治阳黄,积结,尿淋,鼻出血,奶疮,痈疽疔疮,毒蛇咬伤,水肿,肚胀。
用法用量内服：9～15克（鲜者30～60克）,水煎服,或捣汁饮。外用：适量,捣烂敷患处,或煎水外洗。
应用举例
①热尿淋：鲜苦地胆90克,瘦猪肉120克,食盐少许,加水同煮,去渣,分4分服,每日1剂。
②阳黄：苦地胆头连根叶洗净,新鲜者120～180克,煮肉食,每日1剂,连服4～5天。
③鼻出血：苦地胆头、猪肝各适量,水煎服,连服3～4次。
